FirstStep UAE was created by founders who have personally experienced the challenges of starting a business and relocating to the UAE. With first-hand knowledge and a shared vision, we’re here to make your journey simpler, faster, and stress-free.

Our Founders

Marley Bushell and Selcuk Hamamci are experienced founders and advisors who have successfully built businesses in the UAE. During their studies at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, one of Europe’s top business schools, they launched a thriving health food startup in the UAE, which they continue to manage today. Alongside running their business, both founders have also advised international corporations and market leaders across industries such as energy, private equity, software, finance, med tech, beauty & cosmetics, and the public sector on strategic initiatives.

As they worked with clients, they noticed a growing interest in moving business units or entire operations to the UAE. Frequently sought out for their expertise, they successfully guided several entrepreneurs and companies through the process. Recognizing the need for a structured, professional service, Marley and Selcuk founded FirstStep UAE to help businesses and entrepreneurs navigate the transition and unlock the opportunities the UAE offers.
